Today, we're introducing you to Mix #34. What better theme for Halloween than the spookiest thing around: ghosts! Well, maybe not the ghosts you are used to seeing. But the kind of ghosts you find in the music industry, otherwise known as ghostwriters.
As it turns out, very few of the pop songs we have known and loved were written by the person who recorded the hit. Go to the Wiki page for any given Beyoncé song and you'll find as many as 8 people given writing credits on the song. This trend has spanned the entire music industry from Beethovan writing music for an entire orchestra (he never released his music as singles because he was not an 80-piece symphony) all the way to a single from Taylor Swift's latest album.
