    Intern spotlight: Introducing Craig

Hi my name is Craig Baum. I am a Wellesley native and have lived here all my life until I ventured down to South Carolina to attend the College of Charleston for my freshman year. After completing my first year, I decided it was time for a change of pace and transferred to Northeastern University where I am set to graduate in 2022. I will be majoring in Entrepreneurship and may also declare a minor or double major. Outside of school and work, I play the drums and hope to find a band of musicians who enjoy playing metal music. I also currently compete on a CS:GO team in the 28th open season of ESEA, and enjoy playing golf with my dad and family friends.

Previous to Gravyty, I spent three years interning with BitPlay where I supported the team with anything from tech support of the product, to cold sales calls. After three years of time with BitPlay, I pinpointed marketing as the area of expertise I enjoyed the most. I joined Gravyty’s marketing team on May 14, 2018 with an open mind excited to learn. By the end of the summer, I'd like to be able to see how my actions impact the company. In my previous work experiences, I was helping in the back lines but it was hard to see my work’s effects on the company. So far, I have been given small projects that increase current productivity of Gravyty. Moving forward, I am looking forward to working on a long-term project with one of my coworkers that will have measured impact.

By the end of the summer, I will be able to see how my work has helped the team. I look forward to helping the company grow and working towards Gravyty’s larger goals while gaining knowledge and insights from my coworkers. All in all, I am excited to begin to fully dive into my Gravyty experience and work with this great group.
