Gravyty at AFPMA's Fundraising Day In Boston: This Year's Scholarship Winners

Gravyty is honored to announce the recipients of the David Woodruff Scholarship for AFPMA, an annual sponsorship that we set up last year to honor our great friend and past AFPMA president, David Woodruff. These scholarships are awarded to increase access to AFP MA's conference programming so that fundraisers and organizations of all sizes and backgrounds are represented.

At Gravyty, we meet the moment. In this case, it means helping others on their fundraising journeys so they can learn from peers and put those learnings into action for worthy causes.

Gravyty at AFPMA's Fundraising Day In Boston: This Year's Scholarship WinnersThis year's David Woodruff AFPMA scholarship recipients are:

    • Lauren Sottile - Campsign Manager, Revolutionary Spaces
    • Rudy Ash - Chief Development Officer, West End House
    • Anthony Caiozzo - President, Luennburg Skate Park
    • Marissa Solberg - Advancement officer, Cristo Rey Boston High School
    • Matthew Cotty - Director of Development, Revolutionary Spaces
    • Michele Simos - Executive Director, The Dignity Institute
    • Abigail Clavin - Assistant Director of Advancement, Nativity Preparatory School of Boston
    • Lisa Leger - Assistant Director of Fundraising and Annual Campaign, JCC Greater Boston
    • Danielle Kempe - Director of Development, Wade Institute for Science Education

And, if you need some inspiration yourself, our CEO, Adam Martel, delivered the plenary speech at last year's Giving Day in Boston. 3 reasons to watch:

    1. Understand why fundraising and philanthropy need innovation and technology today
    2. See why fundraiser efficiency is the top problem to solve in fundraising and how to get there
    3. And best of all -- see where innovation in fundraising has gone wrong, including maybe the worst invention of all time.
