Active, functional education is one of the best pursuits a fundraiser can undertake. Finding opportunities to learn innovative new approaches, brush up on best practices, and collaborate with open-minded and driven peers can be invaluable.

At Gravyty, we thrive on education. We offer tutorials and workflows within our software, join industry panels, speak at conferences, and offer free educational materials to everyone in the nonprofit fundraising space. We are always looking to improve the educational experiences of our fundraising colleagues.

With that, we are excited to announce that we'll be working with our trusted partners Washburn & McGoldrick on their 1.5 day intensive workshop "Creating Major Gift Success". We are extremely excited to help promote hands-on learning and to help build skills at every stage of the gift cycle, including:

  • Portfolio analysis and management
  • Understanding wealth and philanthropy
  • Getting appointments and conducting discovery/qualification meetings
  • Developing effective engagement and solicitation strategies
  • Preparing volunteers and campus leaders to participate
  • Asking and closing skills
  • Managing your time for success
  • Access to your own data-driven portfolio with the Gravyty advantage, a new fundraising workflow tool

Who should attend?  New members of your gift officer team or those who may have missed your own on-campus workshop. Consider sending a team or multiple gift officers.

Presenters: Washburn & McGoldrick Principal Karin George, Senior Consultant Anne Berry, and Gravyty CEO Adam Martel.

Fee: $1,699 for workshop, all course materials, access to Gravyty and some meals.
